Komplot

Edith, who later becomes the "Queen" of the Old Town, is placed with a foster family. Thefts occur in the house and she is blamed. She is to be sent to a reformatory but flees and finds shelter with others in Frankfurt's Old Town. Years later more thefts occur, leading to a grave conviction and tragic consequences. Exclusive first release of a long-lost 1925 silent drama set in Frankfurt's Altstadt, regarded by film historians as a remarkable cinematic document. Directed by Albert Maurer.
